Welcome to the Brandy shelf.
Brandy is a liquor produced by distilling wine or fermenting fruit juices, but we're not planning on making any. We'll stick to imbibing and leave the distilling to the pros. The term brandy is derived from the Dutch word "Brandewijn", which means burnt wine. In a recent experiment, I tried to burn wine, and it evaporated... but that's a story for another day.
